Bike Tour 2014... IT IS ON!

We're BAAACKKK!

That's right, Bike Tour Burkina Faso is back for 2014, more ready than ever to get pedaling through the country to support the Gender and Development Committee! In the coming weeks we will be posting about the rides, the adventures, and the awesomeness of this years' tour.

Last year, we had a blast exploring the Southwest and Central regions of Burkina Faso. This year we are able to add yet another region to the mix! Starting week one in the Southwest, we will then spend the second week in the Central North region, and the final week will head over to the Central East part of the country. The sites are chosen, the riders and hosts are excited, and the bikes are getting fine tuned for the ride.

Our main goals for the 2014 Tour are as follows:

• Get donations for future GAD grants and activities
• Leverage the presence of the 2014 Tour at PCV sites as an awareness campaign opportunity
• Promote Peace Corps Burkina Faso’s presence in the country
